7 Myths to Avoid While Waiting for Mr. Right - New How-to Book Available on Amazon

I'm ecstatic to say that a How-to book that I felt led to write two summers ago is complete and is now available for purchase on Amazon. Here is a summary. Enjoy!

Do you feel like you’ve been waiting for Mr. Right too long? Have you been tempted to date, flirt, or gain attention from Mr. Wrong? If you have, obtaining substitutes while waiting is just one of the several myths that are explored in this book. If you’re single and waiting, get ready to learn how to become equipped with God’s word, which combats Satan’s lies, so that you can actively replace them with God’s word.

Confessions of a Tomorrow Girl

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might… Ecclesiastes 9:10a
Are you are procrastinator? Are you prone to stress-out? Do you deal with your stress by delaying things? My hope is today that will change!
I slowly recline upon my sofa; softly whispering tomorrow will be mine. What is my name well you can call me, the master procrastinator, the dreamer, the hopeless romantic, or the tomorrow girl. There is a part of me that is prone sometimes to extreme procrastination. You see I’m the type who sometimes waits until the day before something is due to actually do it. For hours I work relentlessly trying to make up for a whole month of ridiculous sloth. Today was an average for me I relaxed after work and laid on my bed, soon I was met peaceful sleep. All the while I was subtly leaving my duties to slowly drift into tomorrow.
Tomorrow I said I will be victorious and conquer these trials that have burdened me today.
Tomorrow I said I’ll carry out the wonderful plans that I scheduled for today.
Tomorrow I said I’ll make up for the extra calories I ate.
Tomorrow I said I ‘ll be on time instead of being late.
Tomorrow I said I’ll lend a hand to the man who stands on the street corner asking for change.
Tomorrow I said I’ll take the time to share the gospel that could change my friend’s life.
Today I’ll get the ticket; tomorrow I’ll pay the price.
Then I realized what if tomorrow was one day too late? What if the pressure of everything crushed me mercilessly with its enormous weight? What if everything tomorrow was suddenly amiss or gone? Suddenly I was fed up with delay and sloth, I needed some air, I needed some space. Suddenly there was all this cluster and clutter I had to face. It was then that I made a vow to take on the world today not tomorrow. To love, give, work, and conquer today!
Today I would tackle what I could with joy and enthusiasm. I would savor the joy of life by taking everything day by day. The bible says tomorrow is not promised to us, so why should I rely so heavily on something that might not prevail? (James 4:13-16)  Why am I deferring everything that defines the validity of today? Why I’m delaying the needs of others? Why I’m I engrossed in sloth rather vitality? I’m young, I’m ready to live the life God has for me. No longer will I be known as the girl who lives for tomorrow, but rather the girl who lives for today!
