If not for your mercy for your grace
I don't think I could save face
If not for God I could not move forward into another year
If not for God I could not overcome my fear
For all these years you God have stretched out mercy and grace
For all these years you loved me when I couldn't love myself
Within me every morning you gave me breath
So I give honor where honor is due
After all these years Oh God I offer my thanks and gratitude to you
