For someone who is secretly hurting . . .
Written June 2010This is for one who has been physically and spiritually hurt and blame the hurt on God or sees God as a hard self-righteous judge like the one who hurt them. I know this is a lot to chew off in the first sentence, but I got a word for this special person. God didn’t plan for this to happen to you and would NOT allow this to happen in his name.
God doesn’t hold man back from doing anything. He often lets them go off into there own wickedness because they have shut their ears to the truth. Genesis 11:6 says “And the lord said, Behold the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” Another verse that shows God gives man free-will is “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” John 3:16. This verse shows that any man can come to Christ, there is not just a group of people selected or ordained to come to Christ. Revelation 22:17 also says “And the Spirit and the bride say, come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever WILL, let him take the water of life freely.”
This verse would not say “will” if man did not have a choice to come to God. Some people use God’s gift of free-will for evil apart from God. For example, there are evil doers acting as hard self righteous judges, here is the verse: “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves,” Matthew 7:15. They come bearing God’s name, but they are not of God. However, in all these things God is just not sitting by letting them get away with it. “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God,” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.
Do not be discouraged from the incident that occurred rather, try God. He is not who you think of him to be! I would know I’ve been with him for over 8 years, and he has never failed me.God loves you and wants to be in a relationship with you. If you come to him you are safe and whole in his arms.
