Have you ever seen a boxing match? It's not a pretty sight. There are blows, an extreme amount of power exerted, strength and intensity all contained in a 23 ft x 23 ft boxed ring. I don’t know all the ins and outs,but I do know that in every match someone has to win and someone has to lose. I can assure you that each person is assured they will not be the one to lose. But in the end they are often taken aback at the result.  This concept can apply to any sport, so sports fans envision this in the terms of life. I use boxing because it’s one of the most vicious “sports” in the arena, but use whichever you will. I believe life is kind of like being in a boxing ring sometimes, it’s fierce and raging and relentless. Maybe not as dramatic, but life is real. Whatever you face in life it’s no clean, spring picnic. There is adversary somewhere and somehow. With each battle there is a win. The question is or you winning or losing?

What if I told you today that you could win every time. Well it’s not without help, but it is possible. First you must distinguish the battles. Every battle you face in life will not be a trial. Some battles come from mistakes we’ve made and for that there is grace. Grace will not take you out of the situation, for we must reap what we sow, but grace will enable you to get through it. 

When battles arise in life, there is one place we can look to, that will always help. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.( Psalm 121:2-3) If we believe in the God of heaven and earth our ultimate hope for victory should be in Christ . There are men that can help like the trainer in a match. He encourages the boxer, he gives him water and helps nurses his wounds. Man can help you ,but only God can deliver you and give a win every time. Let me clarify as well that our struggles in life are only trials when we are saved. When we are not saved oftentimes we make a big mess and there’s no lesson in the end. There is no mosaic masterpiece just a pile of trash sitting there.But as a Christian a lot of your struggles will be trials that in the end blossom into beautiful things. 

If you are not saved and you’ve been in the ring lately. What is the struggle profiting? Are you overcoming and learning from this struggle? Or or you in the same battle over and over throughout your life? A battle that is not won is not finished. If you want to win allow Jesus Christ to enter into the ring. He will win every match, because he cannot be defeated. He died on the cross to defeat every trial and battle you will ever face. Only when there is a win does the a battle end. In order to end a battle someone must win. Will it be you or will the trial win in the end. You decide.
