Top 5 Worship Easter Songs

1.Above All by: Michael W. Smith

Above all kingdoms
Above all thrones
Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
There's no way to measure what you're worth
Crucified
Laid behind the stone
You lived to die
Rejected and alone
Like a rose trampled on the ground
You took the fall
And thought of me
Above all

2. In Jesus Name : Darlene Zschech

Carrying our burdens,
Covering our shame
He has overcome,
Yes He has overcome
We will not be shaken,
We will not be moved
Jesus You are here
I will live, I will not die
The resurrection power of Christ
Alive in me and I am free
In Jesus' Name
Carrying our burdens,
Covering our shame
He has overcome!

3.Forever by:Kari Jobe

The moon and stars they wept
The morning sun was dead
The Savior of the world was fallen
His body on the cross
His blood poured out for us
The weight of every curse upon him
One final breath He gave
As Heaven looked away
The Son of God was laid in darkness
A battle in the grave
The war on death was waged
The power of hell forever broken

4. Hoseanna by: SpiritFit

Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
I see His love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing
The people sing

5. Victor's Crown by:Darlene Zschech

You are Jesus the Messiah
You're the Hope of all the world
By Your grace I live and breathe
To worship You.
Hallelujah
You have overcome, you have overcome
Hallelujah
Jesus You have overcome the world.

Top 5 Classic Easter Songs

1. This Blood: By Carmen

And as they dropped the cross in the hole they dug
His body convulsed with pain
Through the agony and torment
That never a soul shall find
He tilts his face towards heaven
With full control of his mind
With more love then any human heard
Before that time or since
He made a statement that to this day
Makes the strongest skeptic wince,
He cried “Father, God forgive them for they not what they do.”
And as he gave his life for those lost in sin
He was saying“This blood is for you!”

2. This Is What Love Is by:John Elefante

Suffering the world's rejection,
sacrifice and resurrection.
This is what love is,
this is what love is.
And in this world we live in,
there are no guarantees.
But there's one thing I'm sure of:
He died and rose for me.
His love has surely stood the test of time.

He came and gave his life so we would know
He is what love is.
Now I know what love is.

3. Secret Ambition by Michael W. Smith

Nobody knew His secret ambition
Nobody knew His claim to fame
He broke the old rules steeped in tradition
He tore the holy veil away
Questioning those in powerful positions
Running to those who called His name
But nobody knew His secret ambition
Was to give His life away
I tell you nobody knew
Until He gave His life away

4. God So Loved The World

God so loved the world
He gave, He gave us
His one and only Son, one and only Son
If you just believe, if you just believe
It'll set you free, it'll set you free
Oh, He loves you so much.
He loves you so much.
Just believe, just believe.

5. Beauty of The Cross by: Crystal Lewis

You suffered all for me
Just so I could live
You were broken and bruised
And I will tell the whole world about You
The cross, stained by blood
The beauty of the cross
Healing for the lost
The cross, stained by blood
The beauty of the cross
Healing for the lost
The cross

The Greatest Tool To Victory

Do you feel like Satan is constantly bombarding you with lies and oppression? Do you feel like the enemy has been defeating you? Have you grown tried from trying to defeat the enemy? I think this blog post will help you. While reading in Matthew 4, I noticed how Jesus fought the devil. He consistently and persistently used the same tactic with every temptation and lie. That tactic or tool was the WORD,Jesus used the word against the enemy every time he came to him.
3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
This is the first account where the enemy comes to Jesus after fasting for 40 days and nights. The first three words that Jesus utters is : It is written. (THE WORD)
Jesus didn’t validate satans claims or lies that the enemy implied by saying “if” you be the son of God. Jesus simply told Satan the truth, the word. When in doubt the truth always wins. A lot of times the enemy will attack Christians with the same tactic, if you are a Christian etc. Or he will say if you did what’s right why are you suffering? Satan will use the same tactics on us, but we need to follow Jesus example. It’s not through our works, history are anything it’s through the word. Jesus could have gave Satan a whole speech on how he had dominion over him and all the power he had, but he didn’t. He used the WORD.
Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Once again here Jesus uses the word and in the attempt from the enemy for Jesus to take his own life. Which I want to say this the length Satan will try to go through to destroy you. But he can be defeated as Jesus did by using the word.
7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
On Satan last attempt for that season he goes to the extreme by even suggesting that Jesus fall down and worship him and have a worldly kingdom. Jesus defeats him though by THE WORD!
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is WRITTEN, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

When Jesus said this the enemy had to finally flee. He eventually tried to come back but, no doubt Jesus used the WORd again and again.(11) Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. Satan may have tried to use just about every trick in the book to break you down and make you fall, or to defeat you,but Jesus has given the blueprint for us, he has shown us thatwe can stand on the word and win! If you stand on God’s word Satan will have to flee and God will comfort you and help you to stand. Remember what Hebrews 4:12 says: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Dear Hollywood,

Addressing secular Hollywood in particular. You may think that rated G should just be for kid movies, but I say it should be for adults as well. You may think that turning 17 somehow entitles us to fill our eyes with garbage, but according to 2 Timothy 2:22 it doesn't: Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. You may say it's impossible for someone to be a grown up and not drink, curse, have sex,and live wildly, but 2 Timothy 2:22 and many young Christian lives prove you wrong and furthermore proves decency is normal while indecency is not.Hollywood if you will just open the bible it will welcome you to the new normal where grown up movies are decent,Godly and G-rated, single grown-ups are virtuous and madly in love with Jesus, where married couples are happy and faithful to one another, and where kids can just be kids. That is what needs to be on film and t.v. not the "adult" content constantly advertised.I believe film is a powerful tool that can change lives and I'm passionate about making Christian short films. In conclusion Hollywood I pray the Bible and salvation reaches you in it's entirety and that you open your eyes and understand that one day you'll have to stand before a Holy God and explain why you corrupted the earth with your unrighteousness, destroyed so many lives and realize it's not the Christians, but you who have been deceived.

 Sincerely and with love,

The 3 W's

Eating For Life

The spring is coming soon, the sun is shining more and the flowers are beginning to bloom again. It’s that time the time where everyone is thinking of their weight. So I thought this would be the perfect time to write about some tips that may help you. It’s easy to go through the winter over eating , because the layers of warmth or not only a blanket but a shield to our eating habits. However, the right habits can keep us the right size all throughout the year. So I want to talk about lifestyle changes. That is the key to a steady weight, “lifestyle” changes. In my life I have studied the habits of those who gain and those who stay a small size. I have also took note of my habits and how they affect my weight. I am in my twenties and throughout my early 20’s and late teens I knew how to lose weight fast, but as I go towards my later twenties I began to lose sight of how to stay small. I eat right, but I started holding a lot of stress and still was not able to maintain my size like I used to , until I learned lifestyle changes are necessary.

Here are 3 W’s that I’ve learned over time always keep my weight at it’s best.

I When
Time is a major factor in our weight gain or weight loss. One of the most successful weight losses I had was when I switched my dinner to lunch and vice versa.  I’ve noticed in my life and others that timing was very important. Early was key for cheat eating and mid-day was better for heavy meals, late was key for  less cheating and lighter meals. I know some people may find it difficult not to eat heavy foods or cheat foods later in the day, however science and experience proves otherwise. Early in the day we’ve just broke a fast sleeping about 8 hours with no food. Early in the morning is a great time to cheat with an extra slice of cake or treat. Mid-day is a great time to eat your dinner foods that are on the heavier side. Later in the day your diet should grow lighter and milder.

II What
The foods that we eat obviously has a huge effect on our weight, but even more so on your health and how we feel. Many people that are slim have horrible eating habits and bad health. So being slender is not always a sign of being healthy, when I weighed about 115 pounds at 5”8, size 0, I was thin, but extremely unhealthy. Fast forward years later at 124 pounds or more I was healthy and slender. Then as time went on a little heavier, due to stress and healthy organic junk food, I’m determined to break bad habits  and cut out the “healthy and pricey” snacks. Changing what you eat not only helps with your weight, but your health and makes it easier to break bad habits. I always say no one has to deprive themselves of their favorite’s foods, but they do need to modify them. For example mac n’ cheese, you use brown rice pasta, organic low-fat cheese, coconut milk etc. You’ve swapped out all the bad ingredients for good, whole healthy ingredients. One of the basic steps you can take in changing your diet are these three things :

1.       No more ENRICHED! Get rid of any white bread ,white sugar ,pasta etc in your diet it’s horrible for your health and a breeding ground for cancer and other diseases. Instead use whole wheat and whole grains. For enriched pastas swap out the white enriched pasta for wheat, spelt, brown rice or even quinoa pasta instead of white sugar: raw sugar, coconut sugar, organic brown sugar, evaporated sugar or even honey all great replacements.

2.       Get more FRESH ingredients. Add as much fresh fruits and vegetables as you can possibly stand. Be careful not to cook all the nutrients out of your food, accustom yourself to a bit of a crunch in your veggies.

3.       COOK more and buy less boxed food. Most boxed food of full of unhealthy, and toxic ingredients. I cook a lot of the time to avoid this.

III Where

The places you go to eat often prepare foods with ingredients you’re unaware of. When you’re in a store you read the nutrition label, but oftentimes when eating out this is not part of your routine. We are less aware and on guard when we eat out. Fast food is a subtle and vicious factor in our weight gain and bad health. The fast food weight is also a lot more stubborn to lose, because of the bad and artificial ingredients the food is often made of. Try eating out less and be very selective about where you eat and what you eat while you’re there. When in doubt you can always get a salad, fresh fruit, vegetables or simply tea. Overall, the less you eat out the better.

Be determined to make a lifestyle change so no matter what your health and weight continue to thrive and not take a dive. If you’d like more blog posts on weight, health tips and even recipes please leave a comment below. Thanks for reading!

Proverb 31:A Single's Perspective

SIX THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT PROVERBS 31

Proverb’s 31 is one of the biggest featured chapters for women of God. There have been countless articles, blogs, sermons and books written on it. But oftentimes it is spoken of from a married woman perspective. Rarely though from a single’s perspective. Yes it describes characteristics of a wife, but it also describes characteristics of a single woman . To be more accurate a Christian single woman. Here are a few things to observe and learn from Proverbs 31 as a single gal!

The text is taken from Proverbs 10-31 .

     1)   v.10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far  above rubies.

This says to me virtue is expedient as a Christian         woman. This says my worth is awesome so I shouldn’t   succumb to lower standards.
2) v.11 I need to be trustworthy and dependable.

3) v.13 I need to be a hard worker willing to roll up my sleeves, selfless, and a wise and thrifty spender.

4.)vs.20-22 I need to be a giver, prepared for challenges, dress myself with care, honor and dignity.

5.)vs.23-27 I need to be economical, crafty, use all of my talents and gifts, more than just a pretty face, use my tongue to encourage, strengthen and teach. I need to abstain from being vain or conceited.

6.) vs. 28-31  Be a good example for the younger,be the best that God made me to be,put God’s wishes above myself completely and not be lifted up in pride or praise.
