LADIES YOU'RE WORTH IT

I have seen and heard of so many ladies who sell out on integrity for popularity, men, money, friends, fitting in, status you name it. It breaks my heart because I know God made you for more. I have decided to sell out for Christ, no matter what the cost. I’m not perfect but I’m saved, I seek God for guidance, strength and direction, I repent , my heart is willing to follow him and his ways, to walk in the spirit and not the flesh, my heart is filled day by day with love for God , always learning and growing. God has been good to me and I want to be good to him. What merit is there in using my youth for unrighteous, what does it profit, what does it gain? A low self esteem,a broken heart,a cheap thrill, no I want more. For I know my youth will crumble, my beauty will one day fade, but God will stand by my side forever and always. My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.(Psalm 73:26) Girls don't sell out on God,he didn’t sell out on you. (Romans 8:32 )

He gave up everything for you,so give up everything for him. He didn’t die for us to remain in sin, but to be free from sin, don’t choose sin, don’t sell out, I promise you the pay off of sin is always deceptive, cheap and small, but God is beyond anything we could pursue in this world, he's totally worth it. Let your life be one where the younger girls admire you, the men respect you, God honors you, you have a repentant heart, where your life has purpose and substance, and your parents are proud of you. Being a lady with respect, honor, dignity and discreetness never fails nor goes out of style. Esther will be remembered forever for her royalty, dignity, humility and courageousness, Ruth throughout generations as a woman redeemed, Mary the mother of Jesus who humbly and graciously was used by God to bring forth the Messiah ,Mary Magdalene who fell, but was risen back up to be an example for all the girls who think God won't accept them, all these women and more are examples to us that serving God with all our mind, heart body and soul is the way to go!

Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised. Proverbs 31:10

The Perfect Image

There are a lot of views on our weight and body image in America mostly of which are highly bias and preposterous. In this misconstrued judgment of weight we miss one  of the main components of our image and that is individuality. I’ve learned and am learning that we must work according to our “own” bodies and how God made us. When we continually look at others and compare ourselves, we get off base and take away the individually that God made us with, which is so beautiful and unique. If you have broad shoulders and compare yourself to someone with narrow shoulders your judgement is misconstrued and unbalanced. If I compare my round face with a narrow face, I’m taking away the beauty and individuality of both, because their both equal. Another component we lack in society today is honor when we try and imitate people or celebrities that display lots of skin in their outfits and make status quo fashion choices,we take our Godly belt of honor down a few notches. We actually strip ourselves of the royal privilege and title of being a daughter of the King of Kings.

Personally, for me it's not about being an "ideal size" ,or flaunting my figure, or getting attention it's about taking care of my body, being in the best shape that I can be, so I can feel healthy, look healthy, and be happy. In addition to be able to present my body in a way that's flattering, pretty and honorable to God. And most importantly working towards Godly perfection which starts inside (Matthew 5:48 So be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.)The moral of this Friday evening chit chat LOVE yourself and do the best with what you've got, because there is only one you, and the bible says you are fearfully and wonderfully made and remember true beauty as defined by God begins in the inside!

I will praise thee; I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. (Psalm 139:14b&c) (KJV)
