Psalm 91

Psalm 91

Amidst this time, it is important to saturate yourself with the word of God to combat the fears and lies of Satan. Among all of the noise of social media, the news, and a plethora of your own thoughts you need to shut out all of the noise and meditate and trust in God's word alone. Psalm 91 combats the lies of Satan and places a firm emphasis on the divine protection of God in the life of a born again believer in Jesus Christ. This psalm will encourage you and I pray that you will meditate on it and allow it to saturate your heart and mind  over and over again.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Valentine's Day Bliss

Valentine's Day Bliss
This song perfectly captures God's perfect, infinite, undying love for us. I love this song. Please take a moment to listen to this song and meditate on God's perfect love on this special Valentine's Day.

Love in Christ

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: 1 John 3:1a

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vd9VpmHjU4k

Here are the lyrics for your added convenience:
Nobody Loves Me Like You
"Morning, I see You in the sunrise every morning
It's like a picture that You've painted for me
A love letter in the sky
Story, I could've had a really different story
But You came down from heaven to restore me
Forever saved my life
Nobody loves me like You love me, Jesus
I stand in awe of Your amazing ways
I worship You as long as I am breathing
God, You are faithful and true
Nobody loves me like You
Mountains, You're breaking down the weight of all my mountains
Even when it feels like I'm surrounded
You never leave my side, oh oh oh
Nobody loves me like You love me, Jesus
I stand in awe of Your amazing ways
I worship You as long as I am breathing
God, You are faithful and true
Nobody loves me like You
Oh, what a song to sing
Oh, what a song to sing
Oh, what a song to sing
Oh, what a song (my heart keeps singing)
Oh, what a song to sing (what a song)
Oh, what a song to sing (I'll never stop)
Oh, what a song to sing
Jesus, You love me
And I love You, God
Nobody loves me like You love me, Jesus
I stand in awe of Your amazing ways
I worship You as long as I am breathing
God, I will worship You, forever worship You
Nobody loves me like You love me, Jesus
I stand in awe of Your amazing ways
I worship You as long as I am breathing
God, You are faithful and true
Nobody loves me like You
Nobody loves me like You love me, Jesus (I'm a child of God)
I stand in awe of Your amazing ways (yes, I am)
Nobody loves me like You
Nobody loves me like You"

New Year Resolutions

New YEAR Resolutions 2019

It's a new year. A new year to keep growing in God. I have learned a lot in 2018 and I am ready to keep growing wiser in the Lord. It is the application of wisdom that makes all of the difference. I praise for all of the progress I have seen in my life by God's grace. Let's make this another great year you all!

1. Seek God not other things
For years I have struggled to understand what it means when God says "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." However, a couple of nights ago I realized that the primary thing that I have seeked in 2018 is not God. I always assumed that because I spend time with God that that means that I am seeking Him, but a true test or way to find out if you're seeking Him is to examine your thoughts and preoccupations during the day. Are you constantly wondering how can I achieve this or have can I obtain that or are you casting down such thoughts (when you realize they are from Satan) and replacing them with the truth of God's word? This is when I realized that I am not preoccupied with seeking God and getting to know Him but I have been preoccupied with other things. So this year I want to constantly meditate on the following verse: Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

2. Memorize scripture: I want to memorize scripture. Sometimes I get so busy that I forget to memorize more verses, but my desire is to memorize more scripture in the new year.

3. Keep fighting the good fight of faith. I want to continue being a faithful soldier in the army of the Lord.

4. I want to put away resources in for the future. Many of my goals have already been met, so I hope to keep on moving forward in this vein in the new year.

5. Continue to write for the glory of God.

Happy New Year!

The Unspeakable Gift!

The Unspeakable Gift!

In 2 Corinthians 9:15 Paul speaks of the unspeakable gift. Today as we celebrate Christmas, we need to think about the greatest gift of all. And that is the gift of Jesus Christ. If you know Him as your Savior this a time to reflect on the precious gift of Jesus Christ. God gave us his precious Son to die on the cross for us. What a precious, precious gift to us. Without Christ we wouldn't be able to have eternal life.

If you haven't received this gift, I implore you to accept the precious gift of Jesus Christ today and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. He died for us and gave his precious life so that we wouldn't perish but have eternal life. Accept Him into your heart today and allow Him to make your life beautiful like ONLY HE CAN.

Oh, praise God for His unspeakable, precious gift, Jesus Christ!

We love you Lord!

For God so loved the world. that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving

The holidays are upon us, and it is yet the end of another Thanksgiving Holiday, but we can continue to have a thankful attitude. This year I am grateful for so many things. So I compiled a list that I would like to share with you.
The first thing that I am thankful for is God's presence. During this year, He has become my closest friend. I talk to Him about just about anything. Often when I take a break I talk to Him or muse on His goodness. He is such a good, good God and He can be trusted. I am just so thankful for the relationship that I have developed with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I am also thankful for my job. Everyday I have the awesome opportunity to love and serve children. I have been blessed.

I am thankful for my wonderful church family. Since attending my church about 4 years ago, I have developed spiritually in a way that I never anticipated. Not only has the Lord opened my eyes, but He has developed me for His glory. I have no words to really explain the impact of my church. I am thankful that God brought me there four years ago with my family. Praise God for fellowship and spiritual growth.

I am also grateful for my family. God has blessed me with four brothers and six sisters. Iron definitely sharpens iron. They have definitely encouraged me to become the woman I am today. I am grateful for my Mom and Dad. I am just grateful.

I am thankful for my salvation. Twenty-four years ago, I accepted Christ as my Savior. He has been my everything. He has changed me and allowed me to grow in His grace.

Thank you so much Lord for all of the many blessings that you have bestowed upon me. I am thankful for everything you have done for me Lord.

"In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
1 Thessalonians 5:18
